FRUUFNIDS: BODY STRUCTURE They reach a height of about 25 centimeters. Their roughly cylindrical bodies are open on top and filled with liquid coolants that protect the cubes of brain matter which float within. Their sensory umbrellas come in various colors that denote their tribal status. They extract oxygen through an air intake tube that rises above their bodies. An intestinal tract passes through a curved tube set apart from the main body. Fruufnids have dozens of tiny legs which allow them to scuttle along in a gliding motion.
